Negotiations with the Russian Federation, threat of 'Oreshnik', frontline situation, resignation of Shmygal: Zelensky made a number of statements.


During the press conference, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky shared important information about the situation at the front and a possible meeting with representatives of the Russian Federation in Istanbul. He noted that Ukraine received at least 20 bodies of Russians or foreigners who fought on the side of the Russian Federation during the exchange of bodies, despite the fact that this information is rejected by the Russian authorities.

The President also talked about the deployment of Russian troops on the front, stating that their number exceeds 695 thousand people, including in various directions. He also announced the start of production of Ukrainian drone interceptors and negotiations on joint weapons production with European countries. Zelensky also did not rule out his participation in the NATO summit and emphasized the importance of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex for ensuring security in Europe.
