It should be noted that all data about insurance policies is automatically sent to the MTSBU database during their purchase, which facilitates checking the availability of the necessary document.
As for the ways to check the insurance policy, one can use the license plate number, the policy number, or the VIN number of the vehicle, which are stored in the electronic MTSBU database.
Although information about car insurance policies is available in the electronic system, it is recommended to carry a paper document to avoid troubles during police checks.
