First Post-War Elections. Head of 'Opora' Warns: Diia is a Bad Idea.

Head of the civil network 'Opora', Olga Aivazovska, asserts that the use of the 'Diia' system for electronic voting in the first post-war elections may have catastrophic consequences for the legitimacy of power in Ukraine. According to her, this system has not been tested at Eurovision and any mistakes could be exploited by Russians for anti-Ukrainian propaganda. Aivazovska emphasized that electronic voting in the first post-war elections is a bad idea, as the cost of a mistake could undermine the legitimacy of power.

According to Aivazovska, if we are ready for the worst-case scenario, then these elections will be elections of survival, legitimacy, and independence. The possibility of communication between state leaders and the elected leader will disappear if their election is called into question. She also noted that holding elections during martial law is prohibited by the Constitution.

Earlier, the USA emphasized the need for elections in Ukraine, but Russia continues to manipulate and spread fake news about the illegitimate power in Ukraine. President Zelensky also highlighted that the war does not allow for elections. Ukraine is ready to explain this situation.
