Flooding of Kyiv Metro — the Prosecutor General revealed the details of the case.
Expected results of expert examinations in the case of flooding of Kyiv metro tunnels
Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko reported on the expectation of expert examination results in the case of flooding of Kyiv metro tunnels. According to him, most suspects have been identified, as reported by Ukrinform.
Suspicions in the case of flooding of metro stations
'Regarding the flooding of the metro, most suspects have already received notifications of suspicion, and damages from inaction have been established,'— the words of the Prosecutor General are quoted. He also noted that many officials responsible for this area of work knew about the probable flooding but did not take action to prevent it. The investigation is ongoing.
According to Kravchenko, conducting judicial, economic, and mining special examinations may uncover all circumstances of this case in the metro. It should be reminded that the Kyiv Prosecutor's Office announced suspicion against an official of the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration in the case of official negligence that led to the tunnel destruction in the metro.
Earlier, Ruslan Kravchenko also indicated that officials of the Kyiv City State Administration were likely aware of the metro destruction but concealed this information.
It has been reported that in the case of flooding of Kyiv metro tunnels, expert examination results are awaited, which, according to the Prosecutor General, may reveal all circumstances of this case.
