Improvement of weather is expected in Ukraine

According to inkorr.com: At the beginning of next week, the weather in Ukraine is expected to improve after prolonged rains and frosts, reports forecaster Natalia Ptukha. According to her, the cold air mass currently covering the country will bring usual autumn temperatures. Although precipitation will decrease, one should not expect an 'Indian summer'. The forecast for October 18 promises cloudy weather with clearings, but in some places, rain is possible.

“This weekend, atmospheric fronts are passing through us, and on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and even Thursday, the weather in Ukraine will be influenced by a field of high atmospheric pressure. This means that the probability of precipitation is minimal, but the temperature background will not change significantly. During the day, temperatures will be +4… +10 degrees,” explained Natalia Ptukha.

Winter prospects for 2025-2026

Analysts predict that the winter of 2025-2026 may become one of the coldest in recent decades. December is likely to be wet and relatively mild, but January is expected to bring a drop in temperature, and in February, true Arctic cold with frosts and snowfalls may arrive.

Forecasters also note that next week the weather in Ukraine is expected to improve, however, prolonged periods of stable warmth are not anticipated. It is also worth preparing for possible changes in weather conditions in the middle of next week, as rain may occur in some regions of the country.

Thus, despite the improvement in weather, autumn will remain typically changeable, and the upcoming winter promises to be cold. It is important to keep an eye on forecasts to be ready for temperature changes and possible precipitation.
