On September 30, the weather in Ukraine will be quite varied with a noticeable contrast between the western and eastern regions.

This is reported by "Khvylya," citing the weather forecast from the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

The western part of the country, as well as Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions, will greet the day with cloudy weather and rain. Especially heavy precipitation is expected at night in Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, and Khmelnytsky regions. The air temperature in these regions will be quite cool: from 4 to 9 degrees Celsius at night, and 8-13 degrees during the day. In the highlands of the Carpathians, the situation is still wintry - rain with wet snow is forecast at temperatures from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius throughout the day.

At the same Time, the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine will enjoy more comfortable weather. Variable cloudiness is expected here without precipitation, except for Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, where brief showers are possible at night. The air temperature is significantly higher: from 9 to 14 degrees Celsius at night, and up to 16 degrees on the sea coasts. Daytime temperatures in these regions will rise to 20-25 degrees. However, in most northern regions, it will be somewhat cooler: from 6 to 11 degrees at night, and 14-19 degrees during the day.

Strong winds are expected throughout the country. In the north, the wind will be northerly, while in the south and east – easterly, with speeds of 7-12 meters per second. Wind gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second are possible in some parts of Ukraine.

Weather in Kyiv and Kyiv region

On September 30, meteorologists predict variable cloudiness in the capital region. Brief showers are possible at night in some parts of the region, but the day promises to be dry.

In the capital region, the wind will be northerly, 7-12 meters per second with possible gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second during the day in some areas of the region.

Nighttime temperatures in the Kyiv region will be 6-11 degrees Celsius, rising to 14-19 degrees during the day. In Kyiv, it will be slightly warmer: 9-11 degrees at night, and 17-19 degrees during the day.
