Fallen in Donetsk. Let us remember Oleksandr Bunda.

During a combat mission in the area of Hanniivka village, Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk region, defender from Khmelnytskyi region, soldier Oleksandr Bunda, fell on December 5, 2024. This was reported by Hannopil community.
Oleksandr was born on March 4, 1996, in the village of Dosin, Hannopil village community, Shepetivskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region.
The man was drafted into the army in August 2024 and without hesitation swore allegiance to Ukraine. After enduring all the hardships of military service, Oleksandr Bunda became a part of the anti-tank missile systems platoon. He was an operator of the first section of the anti-tank missile systems platoon of the fire support company.
Devoted to the military oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people, bravely fulfilling military duty, the defender of Ukraine fell during a combat mission. December 5, 2024, became a black day in the calendar for the family, friends, community, and all who knew Oleksandr.
The defender was only 28 years old, but that age was enough to become a true hero. Oleksandr was killed during a combat mission in the area of Hanniivka village, Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk region.“He had no choice: he was a son, a brother, a father, a husband, a friend, a patriot, and he felt a deep urge to protect his native land. Oleksandr, like all the heroes of our war, stood at the forefront, facing all the hardships and dangers that war brings. His duty was difficult, but he carried it out with great dedication. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. In this sorrowful Time of unspeakable grief, the whole community stands with you,” – stated the message from the Hannopil community.
The “Glavkom” joins a moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for their homeland. We remember the fallen at the hands of Russian invaders, lighting candles of memory and bowing our heads in sorrow during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who fell in the fight against Russian occupiers and as a result of the attack by enemy forces on Ukrainian cities and villages.
