Polish law enforcement detained political scientist Kyrylo Molchanov and handed him over to Ukrainian authorities. This was reported by Glavkom.

According to the head of the banned party 'Derzhava' Dmytro Vasylets, Molchanov attempted to reach Berlin through Poland, where he was to receive an award for his activities.

Polish police detained Molchanov and deported him to Ukraine.

According to Vasylets, Molchanov was involved in informing European politicians about human rights violations in Ukraine.

In his message, he quotes unknown Bundestag deputies who invited Molchanov to Berlin for the award and grant presentation.

Molchanov previously had connections with Viktor Medvedchuk's team, but after the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, he fled to Russia, where he continued his propaganda activities and informed European politicians about human rights violations in Ukraine.

Viktor Medvedchuk, who is accused of treason, created a political movement in Russia called 'Second Ukraine', which is joined by fugitives from Ukraine.
