Poland Has Not Confirmed That Zelenskyy Will Skip Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk

According to Novyny.live: Polish authorities say they have received no indication that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy might miss the Ukraine Recovery Conference scheduled for this week in Gdańsk. Government spokesperson Adam Szłapka stated that there is currently no evidence to suggest the Ukrainian leader will not attend the event.

Ukraine Recovery Conference Proceeding as Planned

The Ukraine Recovery Conference is set to move forward as scheduled, even if President Zelenskyy does not participate.

“The conference will definitely take place, and the Ukrainian delegation will be present,” Szłapka confirmed.
These remarks highlight Warsaw’s commitment to holding the conference regardless of the Ukrainian leader’s attendance.

It is important to note that a Ukrainian delegation will still represent the country at the event, underscoring the significance of this gathering for discussing post-war reconstruction efforts.

This conference in Gdańsk serves as a key platform for international partners to coordinate support and collaboration for Ukraine’s recovery after the conflict. While Zelenskyy’s potential absence could affect the event’s visibility, the Ukrainian delegation is expected to outline the country’s priorities and needs. This situation reinforces the necessity of collective action in addressing Ukraine’s ongoing challenges.
