Poland has prepared an unexpected plan for Ukraine during its presidency in the European Union.
Starting from 2025, Poland will hold the presidency in the European Union, creating new opportunities for Ukraine on its path to European integration. This was announced by Ukraine's ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar.
He noted that this period is of great significance for both countries in light of the Russian invasion. Ukraine has already begun preparations for Poland's presidency, holding meetings with the leadership of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the relevant minister for EU affairs.
One of the main priorities is to accelerate Ukraine's accession to the EU, as well as to support Poland in communicating with European institutions and other EU member states. Poland will also provide expert support to Ukrainian specialists on the functioning of European institutions.
Ukraine aims to become a leader in reform and accelerated reconstruction after hostilities for full integration into the European community.
