Co-founder of '1+1' TV channel has died

According to inkorr.com: Boris Fuksman, one of the co-founders and former co-owner of the '1+1' TV channel, has passed away at the age of 79. The producer Alexander Rodnyansky announced his loss on his Instagram page, as reported by 'Glavkom'.

Fuksman was a successful German businessman who spent over half a century in Europe. He started from scratch and achieved significant success thanks to his energy, creativity, and determination.

“My brother always supported me and my seemingly crazy projects - the main one being the creation of the Ukrainian TV channel 1+1. I had no one closer to me, except for my wife and children,” added Rodnyansky.

Boris Fuksman was a German media magnate, investor, and film producer. He actively supported Jewish communities worldwide and was the honorary president of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine.

Furthermore, businessman Boris Fuksman, father of ex-MP Irina Berezhna's daughter (the politician died in a car accident in 2017 - ed.), stated that the mother of the deceased is fighting him for custody of the child. The girl was born in July 2009.

In turn, former Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Irena Kilchytska reported that Fuksman is 'connecting his channels in Ukraine for the sake of the fight.'

Boris Fuksman left a significant mark in the media industry as a well-known German entrepreneur and co-founder of the '1+1' TV channel. As an active supporter of Jewish communities, he also fought for custody of his granddaughter, who was born after his daughter's tragic death in a car accident.
