The founder of the band Green Grey Diezel has passed away: date and place of farewell.
According to inkorr.com: Andriy Yatsenko, a member of the rock band Green Grey and known by the nickname Diezel, died on October 20 from heart failure caused by ischemic heart disease. The sad news was announced by the band's management on their Facebook page.
"Andriy Diezel Yatsenko passed away on October 20, 2025, due to heart failure caused by ischemic heart disease, which stopped beating at nine o'clock in the morning. The founder of Green Grey and tireless artist has remained in the hearts of an entire generation that grew up on his energy, giving creative life to many young stars," the message states.
Farewell to the musician
Farewell to Andriy Yatsenko will take place on October 23 from 09:00 to 11:30 at the 'House of Cinema' of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine at the address: Saksahanskoho Street, 6, Kyiv.
Recognition from colleagues
Andriy Yatsenko, who was 55 years old, received high recognition from representatives of the music community, including Ruslana, Artem Pivovarov, and Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.
