The 1256th day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine continues. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding the invaders at 12 fronts, during which 172 combat clashes have occurred.

This information is contained in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dated August 2.

What is the situation at the front

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, eight attacks by the occupying forces occurred, during which 14 airstrikes were carried out and 445 shellings were made, of which 7 involved the use of reactive multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk direction, Russian troops carried out four attacks in the areas of Krasne Pershe and Kamianka.

In the Kupiansk direction, ten assaults were recorded near Holubivka, Zahryzove, Lozova, and Kindrashivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to break through 20 times near Karpivka, Yamplivka, Kolodiaziv, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and Dibrivka.

Particularly intense battles took place in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian forces repelled 66 attacks on populated areas.

In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have inflicted losses on the enemy amounting to 1010 individuals, and a number of military equipment and gear have been destroyed.
