Starbucks in Italy launches coffee with olive oil: what is this drink.
The Italian coffee shop chain Starbucks is about to try something new in the coffee world - adding olive oil. The company's CEO, Howard Schultz, noted that he got the inspiration for this curious combination during a trip to Sicily, where he tried coffee with first cold-pressed Partanna oil. According to Schultz, this oil gave the coffee a unique velvety taste and texture that truly impressed him.
'I was extremely amazed by the unique taste and texture that emerged when first cold-pressed Partanna olive oil was added to Starbucks coffee. Both hot and cold coffee drinks had an indescribable, velvety oiliness that enhanced the flavor properties of the coffee'
Moreover, it is stated that adding first cold-pressed oil to coffee along with oat milk creates an unparalleled texture similar to milk. This experiment is certainly aimed at providing new sensations for coffee lovers.
Research in the field of coffee utilization
Scientists from Aston University discovered an interesting way to utilize coffee grounds - they developed biodiesel from its leftovers, which has low harmful emissions. This discovery could be an important step in reducing the impact of fuel on the environment and using waste for energy production.
It turns out that coffee can be beneficial not only for you but also for the environment!
