According to the Air Force data, the drones that were found over Chernihiv region were moving towards Kyiv. Currently, an air raid alert has been declared in the Brovary and Boryspil districts. The regional military administration noted: 'UAVs have been detected in the airspace. Air defense forces are working on the targets.'

Strikes on Kyiv

It is worth recalling that for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops struck the building of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyiv. Fortunately, none of the government employees were harmed in the attack.

Furthermore, as a result of the night attack by Russian troops on Kyiv, the death toll has risen to three. Russian strikes have damaged the civil infrastructure of the capital, including four residential buildings. The greatest damage was inflicted on the Sviatoshyn district, where the firefighting and debris clearing are ongoing.

Tragedy in Sviatoshyn district

During the shelling of Kyiv in the Sviatoshyn district, 32-year-old Victoria Grebenyuk died along with her two-month-old son Roman. Their house suffered significant damage, and there was no chance for survival.

As a result of enemy attacks that triggered air raid alerts in several regions, Ukrainian Air Forces confirm the presence of drones. Russian shelling of Kyiv has resulted in destruction and casualties, including the most vulnerable segments of the population.

The situation remains tense, and Ukrainian forces continue to work on air defense and mitigating the aftermath of the attacks.
