Russian troops fired 614 missiles and drones at Ukraine overnight: Details on the defense of the attack.

On the night of August 21, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 614 airborne weapons. This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In particular, the Russians fired:

• 574 kamikaze drones of the Shahed type and various types of imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), Gwardejskij (temporarily occupied Crimea);
• 4 air-launched ballistic missiles X-47M2 'Kinzhal' from the airspace of Lipetsk and Voronezh regions of the RF;
• 2 ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'/KN-23 from the Voronezh region in Russia;
• 19 cruise missiles X-101 from the airspace of Saratov region in the RF;
• 14 cruise missiles 'Kalibr' from the Black Sea;
• 1 missile of unknown type from Crimea.

According to preliminary data, by 9:00 AM, 577 air targets were shot down/defeated by air defense:

• 546 enemy drones of the Shahed type and various types of imitation drones;
• 1 air-launched ballistic missile X-47M2 'Kinzhal';
• 18 cruise missiles X-101;
• 12 cruise missiles 'Kalibr'.

Hits by missiles and drones were recorded at 11 locations, with the case of downed (including debris) - at three locations.

The attack was repelled by aviation, air defense missile forces, electronic warfare (EW) units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We remind you that last night the city of Lviv was attacked by Russian occupiers. At the same time, kamikaze drones of the Shahed type and missiles flew towards the city. One person is known to be dead and two wounded.
