The enemy attacked Ukrainian energy facilities in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the Russian attack, there have been damages.
As a reminder, Russian troops have again launched mass attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities. Due to the massive missile strike on Ukraine, 'Ukrenergo' applied emergency power outages.
In particular, the occupiers struck at DTEK thermal power plants. As a result of the Russian attack, energy equipment has been severely damaged. Additionally, one person was killed due to a missile attack by the Russian Federation on energy facilities in Dnipropetrovsk region.
It should be noted that on December 23 in several regions of Ukraine, emergency outages had to be implemented. The reason for the temporary imposition of restrictions was the need for urgent replacement of equipment damaged during shelling and the loss of certain generating capacities.
Ukraine needs another 19 air defense systems to protect energy infrastructure from Russian bombings.
