Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones: how many targets were shot down by air defense.
On the night of August 13 to 14, Russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine starting at 21:00. This time the attack was carried out not only using drones but also missiles. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Two S-300/400 missiles and 45 Shahed-type drones and imitation drones were launched from the Kursk region from various directions. The drones attacked frontline areas in the Donetsk and Chernihiv regions, and there were missile strikes in the Sumy region.
The attack was repelled thanks to aviation units, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Air defense shot down or halted 24 hostile drones and prevented 21 aircraft from hitting 12 populated areas.
