The air defense destroyed 451 aerial target of the Russian Federation: results of the massive attack.
On the night of September 3, the Russian Federation carried out a combined strike on the territory of Ukraine, using attack drones, air and sea-based missiles. A total of 526 air attack means were detected and escorted. This was reported by Glavkom, referring to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Types of Russian attacks on Ukraine:
- 502 Shahed-type attack drones and various types of imitation drones;
- 16 Caliber cruise missiles from the Black Sea area;
- eight X-101 cruise missiles.
Preliminary information on losses:
- The air defense shot down/suppressed 451 aerial target:
- 430 enemy Shahed-type drones and various types of imitation drones;
- 14 Caliber cruise missiles;
- seven X-101 cruise missiles.
According to inkorr.com: Three missiles and 69 attack drones were hit in 14 locations, leading to debris falling in several areas.
In Vyshhorod, as a result of the attack, there was a fire from the debris of the downed target between residential buildings. A car and windows were damaged. The fire has already been extinguished.
According to the mayor of Khmelnytskyi, the Russian attack led to damages and fires, and rescuers are working on the aftermath. Public transport in the city will operate with deviations from the schedule.
During the night of September 3, the enemy again struck at the railway infrastructure. Four workers received non-fatal shrapnel wounds and were sent to a medical facility in satisfactory condition.
It is also worth noting that on the night of September 3, the occupiers launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine, targeting Lutsk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Znamianka (Kirovohrad region), and Donetsk.
Events on the night of September 3 confirm the rising tension in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The significant blow inflicted by the Russian Federation caused infrastructure damage and injured people. The situation requires attention from states and the international community for stabilization.
