Some 'Oschadbank' clients are unable to withdraw cash at the bank counter due to internal rules. This was reported by one such client.

According to the 'Minfin' website, a displaced person from Donetsk region wasn’t able to withdraw money at one of the branches in Dnipro due to card issues. The bank suggested reissuing the card within 14 days but refused cash withdrawal at the counter due to the client's origin.

'We are displaced persons from Donetsk region. My father is 86 years old... When my father's bank card was blocked, we came to the bank branch to restart the card. We were told the cards would be ready in two weeks, my father couldn't withdraw money at the counter with his passport; they refused, citing that he is from another region...'

Reasons for Refusal of Financial Services by Oschadbank

The bank has its own client database for each region, which staff from other regions do not have access to. This complicates the ability for clients located outside the region where their account is opened to access financial services.

This situation arose due to the renaming of regional branches into regional representations and the lack of unification of regional databases into a single client database. Now, funds can only be withdrawn in the region where the account was opened, provided there is an active bank card.

During attempts to withdraw money from a card account at Oschadbank's bank counter, some clients may encounter issues due to access restrictions to client databases outside their region. Refusal to withdraw funds in such cases may be related to the bank's internal rules and a lack of access to necessary data.
