Transcarpathia has suffered the most massive attack during the full-scale war.
The Ivano-Frankivsk region is under the largest attack from Russia
The Ivano-Frankivsk region has become the center of a massive attack by Russia on Ukraine. This was reported by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk.
According to reports, the attack happened in the morning and involved drones and cruise missiles. The main targets were critical infrastructure facilities.
«There are hits! Fortunately, no one was hurt. Currently, our air defense forces are working at the scene, as well as relevant services to eliminate the consequences of the attack», - said Onyshchuk.
This morning, air raid sirens sounded across Ukraine due to the missile and drone strike by Russian troops. Earlier, reports indicated the departure of several Tu-95MS aircraft from the Russian airfield «Olenya» in the Murmansk region of the Russian Federation.
It has also become known that Russia is again attacking the Ukrainian energy sector. As a result of the attack, restrictions on electricity consumption have increased. For example, due to the massive missile attack in the Ternopil region, electricity supply has been stopped for half of the consumers.
Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko stated that energy workers are doing everything possible to prevent or mitigate the consequences of this hostile attack.
On the night of November 27 to 28, Russia again carried out a large-scale shelling of Ukraine. Caliber and X-101 missiles were used from Tu-95 aircraft. The targets of the attack were the energy sector and infrastructure facilities. As a result, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were left without electricity supply.
