The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov spoke about how much time it takes to learn the profession of a scout.
The scout profession
Budanov stated that to become a true scout, it may take 'a moment or a lifetime', depending on the individual's personality.
During a conversation with a journalist, he was asked where one can receive the relevant education for this profession.
'We are trying to balance the intake of newcomers among graduates of various educational institutions. Although the core of our staff consists of military personnel, we are also open to civilian specialists, representatives of various security agencies, and government bodies. This is absolutely normal practice for us.'
