The 'Veteran Sports' program has been expanded: where to use the assistance.
The government supports war veterans by expanding opportunities for participation in the 'Veteran Sports' program. They can now choose from a wider range of sports, including active recreation such as climbing, skiing, motor racing, and much more. The changes aim to adapt the program to the needs of the target audience and to expand the possibilities for harmonious sports engagement.
The ministry urges veterans to utilize the assistance as soon as possible and to apply for participation in the third quarter.
During the first half of 2025, over 100,000 participants in military operations benefited from the program, with 443 sports institutions involved throughout Ukraine. The update will help improve the well-being and physical health of war veterans and people with disabilities through a variety of sports activities.
The government has expanded opportunities for participants in military operations and veterans by providing them with access to various sports and active recreation that positively impacts their physical and mental health and helps them adapt to normal life after service.
