Russian troops in the Kursk region receive less money than those participating in the war in the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the NSDC, Andriy Kovalenko.

Participants in the so-called 'counter-terrorism operation' receive only 100,000 rubles when wounded, whereas military personnel participating in the 'special military operation' receive 3 million rubles.

For death in the territory of Ukraine, a Russian serviceman is paid 5 million rubles, while for death in the 'counter-terrorism operation' - 600,000 rubles.

Kovalenko noted that participants in the 'counter-terrorism operation' in the Kursk region do not receive the status of combat veterans, which provides certain benefits and social guarantees.

The head of the Center wrote that Putin's regime is saving on the war and devaluing the lives of military personnel, especially those fighting in the territory of Ukraine.
