Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the NSDC Andriy Kovalenko reported that Russia has serious problems with supplying air defense and missile defense systems to protect its cities and strategic facilities. According to Kovalenko, the Russian leadership has concentrated the main air defense/missile defense systems in Moscow, near the residence of the President of the Russian Federation, and in St. Petersburg, leaving the rest of the regions without adequate protection. Kovalenko noted that this indicates that regions that are not a priority for Putin are virtually indifferent to the Russian leadership.
