Putin left the regions of the Russian Federation unprotected for the sake of two cities, - NSDC head Kovalenko.
Russia is facing a critical shortage of air defense and missile defense systems to protect cities and facilities
Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the NSDC Andriy Kovalenko reported that Russia has serious problems with supplying air defense and missile defense systems to protect its cities and strategic facilities. According to Kovalenko, the Russian leadership has concentrated the main air defense/missile defense systems in Moscow, near the residence of the President of the Russian Federation, and in St. Petersburg, leaving the rest of the regions without adequate protection. Kovalenko noted that this indicates that regions that are not a priority for Putin are virtually indifferent to the Russian leadership.
'Regions are unimportant to Putin; he does not care about them.'
The head of the CPD of the NSDC paid special attention to the city of Kazan, which has strategic importance for the Russian military-industrial complex. He mentioned the drone attack on an industrial enterprise in this city and emphasized that there is an ammunition factory in Kazan that supplies the Russian armed forces with ammunition and materials for missiles, including 'Caliber' and 'Iskander' missiles. Earlier, Ukraine struck a refinery that supplied fuel for Putin's army with drones and missiles.
