Putin's medal for the attack on Ukraine – only 200 UAH. Russians are selling new awards en masse.
On auctions on the Internet, Russians actively sold awards and medals for participation in the so-called 'SVO'. This was a way for Russian criminals to mask their war against Ukraine. According to the data from the 'Glavkom' portal, the prices and sets of these occupation awards varied. Some sold simple trinkets for small amounts, while others offered more valuable medals with empty certificates, into which any other man or woman could be inscribed.
The average price of an 'ordinary' medal was 400 rubles (approximately 120 UAH). Such medals, sold with boxes and empty certificates, cost from 900 rubles (approximately 270 UAH). The most expensive item found at auction was the medal 'For Combat Distinctions', priced at 35 thousand rubles (approximately 10,500 UAH).
