According to ТСН: Propaganda narratives from Russia continue to speak of Ukraine's 'inevitable defeat', however, facts indicate otherwise. As a result of falling scientific potential and failed attempts at import substitution, the quality of Russian weaponry is rapidly declining.

Loss of Russia's potential

Vadim Skibitsky, Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, noted that the Kremlin's attempts to replace foreign components with domestic parts have led to a significant decrease in the reliability of weapons.

'We see how Russia is losing its potential, I mean scientifically. Missiles are no longer flying, accuracy is disappearing. Their attempts to circumvent or replace foreign components with import substitution lead to completely different results. For example, during recent strikes about 40% of the cruise missiles launched by the Russian Federation simply did not take off from the planes', he said.

Cooperation with international partners

Skibitsky emphasized that Ukraine is actively cooperating with international partners, providing evidence of the vulnerabilities of the Russian army and military-industrial complex. Intelligence regularly publishes reports that demonstrate the real losses and miscalculations of Russian occupiers.

'The Main Intelligence Directorate constantly publishes the results of our work to show that not only Russia is striking us, but we can also deliver strikes that significantly affect the very same military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, on those enterprises that support the conduct of war. Regarding how effective this is today, a lot depends on the developments and the means we are already using,' explained Skibitsky.

New modifications of Russian drones

The HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also revealed details of a new modification of the Russian drone 'Geran-2' series 'E', which is equipped with an air-to-air missile R-60. It is known that the electronic components of the drone contain parts of Western production.

Earlier, it was reported that Russia began using upgraded strike drones 'Shahed' with old Soviet missiles R-60 to strike Ukrainian helicopters and bypass air defense systems.

In wartime, it is important to constantly monitor changes in the opponent's defensive capabilities. The deterioration in the quality of Russian weaponry indicates the challenges Moscow faces as it attempts to restore its military might. This, in turn, opens new opportunities for Ukraine to defend its interests on the battlefield.
