Attack on the military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Today, September 24, the enemy struck one of the training units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using two Iskander ballistic missiles. This was reported by the Ground Forces.
As a result of accurate hitting in the shelter, despite the security measures taken, unfortunately, it was not possible to completely avoid losses among the personnel. Emergency services are currently working on the scene. Injured persons are being provided with all necessary medical assistance.
Representatives of the Armed Forces also noted that work on equipping training centers and other military facilities with reliable shelter is ongoing. In addition, additional security measures are being implemented to protect military personnel from enemy missile and air attacks.
Casualties and security measures
Earlier, Russian troops attacked the Armed Forces training ground, despite the timely measures taken, which resulted in casualties among the personnel. After this tragedy, the commander of the Ground Forces resigned.
In the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine, enemy forces continue active operations, shelling Ukrainian military personnel. To protect servicemen from such attacks, enhanced security measures are being taken, and the protection of facilities is constantly being improved. However, the threat from the occupiers remains an important component of the conditions of life and combat activities of the Ukrainian troops in the east of the country.
This situation highlights the difficulties faced by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in conditions of active hostilities. The constant threat of missile attacks requires the military leadership to make operational decisions regarding the strengthening of defense and the security of personnel.
