Russia attacked Dnipropetrovsk with artillery and drones - consequences.
On the night of August 7, Russian troops struck the Dnipropetrovsk region using drones. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak, the air defense forces managed to destroy 33 enemy drones, but the consequences of the attack were serious.
Four civilians were injured in Dnipro, two of them hospitalized in serious condition: a 43-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman.
During the attack, fires broke out, 12 vehicles caught fire, and another 17 were damaged. An administrative building, vehicles, eight multistory buildings, and one private house were completely destroyed, as well as damage recorded at the premises of a transport company.
In Pavlohrad, the fire engulfed a summer cottage and a car, while in the Kryvyi Rih district, a building and a living module were on fire.
In the Synelnykove district, dry grass and the roof of a local lyceum caught fire. Additionally, a private house and a passenger car were damaged.
In Nikopol, artillery shelling and drone attacks occurred. Russian troops shelled the district center, as well as the communities of Marhanets, Myrivka, and Pokrovsk, causing damage to private homes, multistory buildings, cars, and infrastructure. A fire was also observed in the library.
Yesterday, August 6, Russia launched an attack in Nikopol, resulting in the deaths of three people, including a rescuer.
There was also a loud explosion heard outside of Kharkiv last night.
As a result of the nighttime attacks by Russian troops in the Dnipropetrovsk region, civilians and infrastructure were affected. Fires, destruction of houses and vehicles were a consequence of the use of drones in combat. The situation remains tense, and the incidents indicate the need for further monitoring and measures to prevent similar events.
