Russians launched 567 strikes in Zaporizhzhia region: two dead, three wounded.
Over the course of the day, Russian occupiers launched more than 500 strikes on populated areas of Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the enemy shelling, two people died, and three others were injured.
This was reported by the head of Zaporizhzhia OVA Ivan Fedorov on Wednesday, August 6, via Telegram.
Shelling of Zaporizhzhia region - what are the consequences
According to the head of OVA, two people were killed, and three were injured as a result of the RF attack on Zaporizhzhia and Vasylivka districts.
During the day, Russian occupiers launched 567 strikes on 16 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia region.
Russian army personnel carried out 6 aerial strikes on Zarichne, Huliaipole, Malynivka, Olhivske, and Novoandriivka.
Furthermore, 394 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Bilentske, Yurkyvka, Stepnohirs'k, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Malynivka, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Chervona Krynytsia, Mala Tokmachka, and Charyvne.
Additionally, 6 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems hit Plavni, Prymorske, Mala Tokmachka, and Novodanilivka. At the same time, 161 artillery strikes were carried out on the territory of Kamianske, Huliaipole, Malynivka, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charyvne, and Novoandriivka.
According to Fedorov, there are currently 15 reports of destruction of apartments, non-residential buildings, private houses, storage facilities, and agricultural machinery.
It is noted that on the morning of August 6, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia region — an air alert was declared in the region.
Earlier, we reported that late in the evening on Tuesday, August 5, explosions were heard in Kharkiv — a drone of the type 'Molniya' struck the city for the second time that evening.
The message from the head of Zaporizhzhia region regarding more than 500 strikes by the occupiers and the casualties and damage inflicted during the shelling demonstrates the ruthlessness and inhumanity of the enemies. The dangerous situation in eastern Ukraine continues to deepen, claiming the lives of civilians and causing damage to peaceful settlements and property.
