On the evening of August 5, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with drones. As a result of the enemy shelling, a girl was injured, and there is also destruction.

Russia's strike on Kharkiv — what are the consequences

According to the investigation, on August 5, Russian troops attacked the Kyiv district of Kharkiv twice with drones.

At around 21:20, the first hit was recorded on the roof of a gas station. An 18-year-old girl was injured.

Approximately two hours later, another UAV struck between residential apartment buildings. The blast wave broke glass in the apartments. There were no casualties.

It was preliminarily established that the Russian army used a drone of the type 'Molniya'.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv, pre-trial investigations have been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

It should be noted that late on the evening of August 5, there were powerful explosions in Kharkiv — the Russians attacked with UAVs.

As a result of the attack by Russian drones on Kharkiv on August 5, a girl was injured and destruction was caused. The crimes were committed with the use of drones of the 'Molniya' type, leading to the initiation of a pre-trial investigation by the local prosecutor's office. The strike on a civilian settlement poses a serious threat to the safety of residents and constitutes a violation of international law.
