The Russian army is preparing for strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure
In the coming months, the Russian army may launch new strikes on Ukraine's key infrastructure in order to force residents to leave their homes.
This was reported by the commander of the intelligence unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Denys Yaroslavskyy, on the program Morning.LIVE.
The Russian Federation is preparing strikes on energy facilities
With the worsening weather conditions, new strikes by Russian troops on Ukraine's vital infrastructure are possible, according to Ukrainian intelligence. Therefore, the population and the government are advised to be ready for such actions by the occupiers.
'They are again planning strikes on the energy sector. When the frost sets in, they will attack energy facilities and water supply systems. I do not want to scare anyone, but the enemy behaves like a terrorist. They understand that to strategically destroy a city, they need to ruin the power grid. Therefore, the authorities must also be prepared,' — Yaroslavskyy stated.
It is worth noting that the enhancement of the 'miners' strike capabilities is being addressed by the intelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to make them even more dangerous.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also showed how Russian military personnel 'hunt' for civilians at the front line and called on the world to take vigorous action.
Ukrainian intelligence warns of Russia's plans to attack the country's energy sector. The Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian government call on citizens to be ready for possible strikes and to support the country's defense capabilities.
