Russia complains about UAV attack in several regions, Moscow under fire.

On the night of September 1, drone attacks took place in some Russian regions, including Moscow. Russian media report about this.

The regions that were attacked by drones include Moscow, Ryazan, Tula, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation. Residents of the Kaluga and Orel regions also reported explosions.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that the capital was attacked by drones. According to him, five drones were shot down. The locations of the downings included Podolsk, Stupino, Odintsovo District and Leninsky District.

One of the drones carried out an attack on Kashira, located in the Moscow region. Local residents report that the Kashira power station was attacked, but this information has not yet been confirmed.

At the same Time, in the night of September 1, Moscow's Vnukovo airport imposed temporary restrictions on departures and landings.

According to the airport's online schedule, three departing flights and nine arriving flights were delayed, and one was canceled, Russian media report.

Governors of another seven Russian regions also reported shooting down drones.

The governor of the Ryazan region wrote that the UAV was destroyed by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense. There are no casualties, but details about material damage are being clarified.

The Tula regional ministry for regional security also reported the downing of three UAVs over the Tula region. There is no information about damage or casualties yet.

The governor of the Bryansk region reported the detection and destruction of 14 unmanned aerial vehicles. There are no casualties or destructions. Operational and emergency services continue to work.

The governor of the Voronezh region also reported the destruction of drones but did not specify the number.

According to him, "UAVs were suppressed in the Gryazinsk, Lipetsk and Stanovlyansky districts. The UAVs were destroyed over an industrial zone in Lipetsk. There are no casualties or injuries," said the Lipetsk region governor.

The governor of the Belgorod region reported that Russian air defense worked over Belgorod and the district. Several aerial targets were allegedly shot down over the city.

The head of the Kursk region reported that air defense is operating over the Kursk region. Two Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs were allegedly shot down.

Recall that on August 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed the downing of 45 drones in the country, including 11 over the Moscow region. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin called this incident one of the largest attempts to attack the capital.
