Today, July 16, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the city of Dobropillya in the Donetsk region. The attack began in the city center as people were returning from work, resulting in casualties and numerous injuries. This was reported by ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets on Telegram.
'Today Russia dropped an aerial bomb on the center of Dobropillya in Donetsk region — at the hour when people were returning from work. The strike hit the area of the 'Aurora' store,'
According to Lubinets, the result of the attack was fatalities and numerous injuries. Currently, rescuers, medics, and military doctors are working at the scene, as the local hospital is unable to accommodate all the victims. The ombudsman emphasized that this attack is a deliberate terrorist act, indicating Russia's crimes against the civilian population of other countries.
'The world must finally recognize: terrorism will not disappear by itself. Concrete actions and increased pressure are needed!'
Recall that another person died as a result of the previous attack on Chernivtsi on July 12. Also, today Russian troops carried out a strong attack on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Russian forces again attacked the civilian population, this time in the city of Dobropillya. The assault led to casualties and numerous injuries, and highlights the offensive by Russia against the civilian population of Ukraine. It is currently important to support the victims of this tragedy and stop the violence in the region.
