Night Attack of the Russian Federation
At around midnight, a large-scale air alert was declared across Ukraine. Powerful explosions were heard in Lviv shortly after the sirens sounded. According to information from monitoring chats, the strike could have been delivered using “Oreshnik”.
Authorities confirmed strikes on critical infrastructure facilities in the Lviv region. As a result of the missile strike in the village of Rudno, close to Lviv, an automatic gas safety system was activated, leading to a disruption in gas supply.
Additionally, Russia also launched a mass attack on Kyiv overnight, using ballistic missiles, “Kalibrs” and drones. Owners of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities suffered damage, and emergency electricity disconnections were necessary on the Left Bank of the capital.
This attack illustrates the escalation of tension at the front and indicates possible changes in Russia's military strategy. Ukrainian forces continue to work on improving their air defense systems to counter new challenges from the aggressor. It is important to stay informed and maintain communication to adequately respond to crisis situations.
