Russia has once again attacked the energy system of Ukraine: emergency power outages implemented in several regions.
According to ТСН: On the morning of December 23, the army of the Russian Federation struck again at the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, 'Russia is once again attacking the energy infrastructure. As a result, emergency power outages have been implemented in several regions of Ukraine.'
It is reported that emergency outages will be lifted after the situation stabilizes in the energy system.
Consequences of the attack
In Ukraine as a result of the attack by the Russian Federation, emergency power outages have been implemented. In many regions, the disconnection schedules do not work. This applies, in particular, to Kyiv and the region, Bukovina, Chernihiv region, and Poltava region.
This strike once again confirmed the vulnerability of the country's energy infrastructure and posed a serious challenge for energy workers, who were already trying to restore stability in the system after previous attacks. Emergency outages resulting from these shelling will affect the daily lives of millions of Ukrainians, complicating access to electricity during the winter period.
