Russia has fulfilled the mobilization plan by 100%, yet troop strength is not increasing: Statement from Syrski.
According to ТСН: Russia has fulfilled the plan to replenish its armed forces by 100%. In the last six months, the number of Russian troops in Ukraine has remained between 710,000 and 711,000.
This information was disclosed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrski, in an interview.
He noted that the Russian side has formed numerous specialized battalions, regiments, and brigades to further enhance its military capabilities.
"We can confirm what the enemy itself has stated: that it has fulfilled the plan to replenish its forces by 100%. The plan envisaged the mobilization of 406,000 individuals," says the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Meanwhile, Russian losses have exceeded 410,000.
Syrski also pointed out that the number of Russian troops increased by about 7,000-9,000 each month in the first months of 2025, but the total remained at 710,000-711,000 in the last six months.
"This shows that even the implementation of all their (mobilization-related) plans does not allow them to increase troop strength," explained the General.
The Commander-in-Chief also commented on the analysis conducted by Russian “military reporters” regarding the number of mobilized individuals and the concluded contracts. It turned out that there is about a one and a half million discrepancy between the stated mobilized and the actual number of 700,000.
"Yes, these are real losses. This shows that the enemy had planned to form 14 new divisions this year. Only 7 could be formed: 2 Marine infantry divisions consist of only 1 regiment. The formation of the remaining 7 brigades has been postponed to next year. The reason is that they were forced to take the personnel of these divisions and integrate them into combat-ready units. This is proof that they are indeed having problems with recruitment," claims the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
What is the ratio of losses
According to Syrski, the enemy's daily losses average 1,000-1,100 individuals. He emphasized that the Russians have about six times more dead than the Ukrainians.
This situation indicates serious problems in the Russian armed forces, caused both by high losses and difficulties in recruiting new units. After failed mobilization campaigns, the Russians need to find new ways to support their forces, which could affect future operations in the region.
