Russians attacked Ukraine with a hundred Shahed: Air Defense destroyed 70 drones.
On the night of August 10, Russian occupiers launched an attack on Ukraine using a hundred Shahed-type strike drones and decoy drones of various types. These drones were launched from different areas, including Shatalovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Hvardiyisk.
Response of Ukrainian Forces
'To repel the air attack, aviation, anti-aircraft missile systems, units of radiation, chemical, and biological defense, as well as mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were employed', stated in an official message.
As of 08:00, information indicates that it was possible to shoot down or neutralize 70 enemy Shahed-type drones and decoy drones in the north and east of Ukraine.
It was also reported that 30 drones were detected invading 12 different locations in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, with debris from the aircraft found at three other sites.
It is worth noting that over the past day, Russia carried out 491 strikes on 15 populated areas in the Zaporizhia region, resulting in casualties and injuries.
It is also important to mention that in Russia, in Saratov, there was also some action — due to a drone attack, an oil refinery caught fire.
As a result of the aggressive actions of the Russian forces, dozens of enemy drones were detected and destroyed, but the conflict continues to escalate, threatening the humanitarian situation in the region.
