Russians attacked Ukraine with 71 drones: 59 destroyed, hits reported.
On the night of August 11, Russian occupiers launched an attack on Ukraine using 71 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones. A precise hit by 12 drones was recorded on the territory of the country.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Reaction to the attack on August 11
'Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and drone systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participated in repelling the enemy attack', the message states.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, it was possible to shoot down or divert attack drones of the Shahed type and various imitators from the northern, southern, and eastern borders of the country. It was also mentioned that there were precise hits by 12 drones at six different positions, as well as debris falling on one of them.
It is worth noting that yesterday the enemies carried out an attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, releasing guided bombs. At least one of the bombs struck a university clinic. In addition, Russia attacked a railway station in Dnipropetrovsk region. The railway hub was also hit.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to defend the territorial integrity of the country from enemy attacks, participating in repelling enemy drones and protecting civilians from threats. The Russians are unable to carry out successful military actions on the territory of Ukraine due to appropriate measures taken by the Ukrainian military.Read also
