Robert De Niro on Trump: He is an alien and wants to harm the USA.
According to inkorr.com: Renowned American actor Robert De Niro expressed his critical attitude towards US President Donald Trump, considering him harmful to the state. In the program The Weekend on MSNBC, the actor emphasized that Trump intends to harm the country and shows no compassion for people, calling him 'an alien.'
'Trump understands nothing about humanity, about people. He has no compassion. I don’t know who he is, but he is an alien, and he wants to harm this country.'
De Niro is convinced that Trump seeks to bring pain to people and has no idea about the future of America. The actor called for protests on October 18, known as 'The Day Without Kings', against the president's attempts to limit democracy, emphasizing the importance of its preservation.
In response, White House communications director Stephen Chung commented on the actor's criticism, calling it irrelevant. He also added that De Niro is only provoking violence and hatred, losing his significance over the past thirty years.
Robert De Niro's appearance took place against the backdrop of escalating political tensions in the USA, where public opinion about Trump remains polarized. The protests that the actor is calling for could serve as another indicator of citizen activity in the struggle for their rights and democracy in the country.
