Russia attacked energy facility at night: over 17 thousand people without electricity.
According to inkorr.com: On the night of October 17 to 18, Russian troops attacked Ukraine using drones. As a result of this attack, an energy facility in the Chernihiv region was damaged. According to 'Chernihivoblenergo' in Telegram, over 17 thousand consumers were left without electricity.
Energy workers have already begun active work on restoring electricity supply for the affected areas. During this night, Russian forces launched 164 drones and three missiles, but the Ukrainian air defense managed to destroy 136 enemy drones within the country.

There were also 27 attack drones recorded in 12 populated areas, and debris poses a threat in four other locations.

In Ukraine, emergency power outages may continue due to these events.
As a result of the attack by Russian drones in the Chernihiv region, there was a massive power outage. The Ukrainian air defense is actively responding, destroying a significant number of enemy drones, however, the situation in the energy market remains tense. Authorities and energy workers continue to work on restoring electricity supply.
