According to Novyny.live: Russian military forces launched an assault on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region overnight on February 3, resulting in fires and widespread destruction. The attacks targeted the city of Dnipro, as well as the Slobozhanska, Rozdorska, and Raivska communities, and the Nikopol district.
Oleksandr Hanja, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, detailed the aftermath. In Dnipro, a fire broke out and damage was inflicted on an infrastructure facility. The shelling also destroyed:
- two private homes
- a three-story residential building
- a dormitory
Employment of Advanced Weaponry
In the Nikopol district, occupying forces deployed FPV drones and artillery, damaging:
- four private houses
- three farm buildings
- a garage
Despite the scale of the destruction, there were no reported civilian casualties.
This assault is part of the ongoing war in Ukraine, now approaching its third year, which continues to devastate civilian infrastructure. The use of modern technologies like FPV drones highlights an evolving battlefield tactic.
