Strikes Target Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia Regions
According to UATV: On March 3, Russian forces attacked the city of Kharkiv with strike drones, injuring two people, including a 10-year-old child. This assault was part of a broader offensive, with Russian troops targeting 12 settlements in the Kharkiv region over a 24-hour period. These attacks are part of a sustained campaign against Ukraine's second-largest city, which has endured frequent bombardment since the full-scale invasion began.
According to local officials, in the Zaporizhzhia region, 766 strikes hit 35 settlements. Russian forces also carried out 19 airstrikes and launched 472 unmanned aerial vehicles.
Casualties Reported in Dnipropetrovsk Region
Separately, in the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, one man was killed and seven passengers were injured. This information was confirmed by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov.
These events occur against the backdrop of an escalating conflict in Ukraine, where Russian military forces continue intensive shelling of civilian infrastructure.
