Drone Attack in Novhorod-Siverskyi District of Chernihiv Region
According to inkorr.com: In Chernihiv Oblast, particularly in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, shelling was carried out by Russian drones. According to the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, about 20 attacks were recorded. Unfortunately, these attacks claimed the lives of four people, and seven others were injured, including a small girl who is currently being treated at the regional children's hospital.
Consequences of the Attacks: Destruction and Power Outages
As a result of the drone attacks, not only buildings but also the city's infrastructure was damaged. Chernihiv was left without electricity, and there were also difficulties with water supply. The local water utility implemented alternative energy sources to provide the population with water.
The head of the regional state administration confirmed that the region experienced a massive drone attack. During the day, 51 aerial targets were identified, including two ballistic missiles. However, energy workers cannot start repair work due to ongoing aerial threats.
During the drone attacks in Novhorod-Siverskyi, numerous casualties and significant destruction were recorded. This led to power outages and problems with water supply. Inspections are ongoing in the area, but energy teams are facing difficulties due to constant aerial threats.
The situation in the region remains tense. Defense forces continue to combat enemy strikes, while local residents are trying to adapt to new challenges. The efforts of emergency services and energy workers are critical for restoring normal life in the affected areas.
