Russia attacked the Odesa region: massive fires in warehouses due to drone strikes.
The Russian attack on Odesa led to fires and injuries
According to inkorr.com: Russian military forces struck Odesa with drones, causing large fires in warehouses containing textiles and sewing equipment. The fire covered an area of over 5 thousand square meters. As a result of the attack, one person was injured, and a vehicle was burned. According to the State Emergency Service, the elimination of consequences was complicated by high fire load and the lack of water supply at the scene. Firefighters managed to organize water supply from nearby water bodies, but extinguishing the fire was difficult.
Currently, 56 rescuers and 16 units of equipment are participating in the firefighting operation. Various services are involved in the rescue work, including the KZ "CBG Avangard", the National Guard fire protection unit of Ukraine, and volunteers.
Further attacks on energy facilities
Unfortunately, this attack was not the only one - on the night of October 9, the occupiers struck again at DTEK's energy facility in the Odesa region. Currently, repairs are ongoing as the damage was significant, and the company needs time to restore the systems.
Corruption actions of Russia in the Odesa region lead to serious consequences, threatening the civilian population and the infrastructure of the region. Attacks on energy facilities and fires in warehouses are alarming signals that require immediate response and enhanced security measures.
Currently, the situation in the Odesa region remains tense. Local services continue to combat the consequences of the attacks and take various measures to ensure the safety of the population. These events underline the importance of readiness for emergencies and responding to them, as the threat to citizens does not disappear.Read also
