Russian forces attacked coal enterprises in the Donetsk region
According to inkorr.com: On November 5, the Russian army launched an attack on coal enterprises in the Donetsk region, reports 'Glavkom' citing the Ministry of Energy.
According to the agency, 'as a result of five airstrikes with guided bombs, facilities of the coal industry were damaged in Donetsk. The boiler house, administrative and warehouse buildings were damaged. The enterprises are currently non-operational.'
Fortunately, according to preliminary reports, there are no fatalities or injuries.
'Russian terror does not cease. We are negotiating with partners to strengthen air defense and equipment for the rapid restoration of energy infrastructure,' said Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.
Strike on the thermal power plant in Sloviansk
Earlier, Russian aviation struck the thermal power plant in Sloviansk, resulting in the deaths of two energy workers - Serhiy Dyachenko and Mykhailo Hryhoriev, while five other workers were injured.
These events indicate an escalation of the conflict in the region and serious problems with the energy infrastructure. Attacks on coal enterprises and the thermal power plant force authorities to work on strengthening air defense and restoring the energy system in the conflict zone.
