Russia Modernizes Aerial Bombs: How the Jet Engine Increases the Threat.
According to inkorr.com: Russia is modernizing its guided aerial bombs by equipping them with jet engines to increase their range of impact. Military expert Igor Romanenko emphasized the importance of combating not only the bombs but also their carriers.
Continuation of the Threat
In his opinion, the problem with Russia's guided aerial bombs has existed for the past two years. The new modernization with jet engines has significantly increased their flight range, which previously amounted to 70-90 kilometers.
“This is a serious threat. Together with our allies, we are working on means to combat guided aerial bombs and drones, and we plan to complete the project by the end of this year,” the expert emphasized.
Necessary Protective Measures
He also stressed that effective protection requires the destruction of the carriers of guided aerial bombs, which necessitates long-range anti-aircraft missile systems or fighters equipped with 'air-to-air' missiles.
Thanks to the modernization of aerial bombs with jet engines, Russia has become a serious threat to security, and military specialists, together with allies, are developing methods to counter this threat.
These developments indicate that tensions in the region remain high, and military actions could significantly impact the security of neighboring countries. It is important for the international community to continue collaborating in defense and security to prevent new threats.
