According to Forbes magazine, North Korea is likely sending its powerful M1991 multiple launch rocket systems to Russia. These systems can strike targets at a distance of up to 60 km. In addition, the occupiers may receive M1989 self-propelled howitzers, a total of about 100 artillery systems.

M1989 howitzers fire 170-mm shells weighing 45 kg each at a distance of not less than 40 km.

M1991 is a system capable of firing 240-mm rockets weighing 187 kg at a distance of up to 60 km. This MLRS surpasses most artillery systems available in Ukraine, except for American Himars.

These launchers can attack Ukrainian trenches and fire back at Ukrainian howitzers and launchers.

According to the publication, the occupiers can attack Kharkiv, which is located 40 km from the border with Russia.

Earlier, it was reported that North Korea transferred 100 short-range ballistic missiles of the Kn-23/24 type and more than 5 million shells to Russia in October and November.

South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol stated that he does not rule out the possibility of providing weapons to Ukraine. He made this statement after North Korea deployed its troops in Russia.
