In the front line, 175 combat clashes occurred in the last day. Russian invaders have increased the use of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and other types of weapons in key directions of the front. Throughout the day, the enemy delivered 82 airstrikes on the positions of the Ukrainian troops and settlements. In addition, there were 5,611 shelling incidents and 5,610 kamikaze drones were used for strikes. This was reported today, August 20, by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as informed by FREEДOM.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy troop attacks.

Meanwhile, in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped five enemy assaults near the settlements of Volchansk and Kamenka.
