Russia storms Donbas before autumn impassability: officer on the situation at the front.
According to inkorr.com: Currently, the front line is experiencing a very difficult situation. Russian troops are actively advancing in Donbas, trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian forces before the onset of autumn impassability. This information was provided by officer Andriy Illienko of the 3rd battalion 'Svoboda' of the 4th operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Rubizh', who noted that the enemy is acting with unprecedented aggression, as if it were their last chance.
“Either the Muscovites want to make it before the onset of autumn impassability, or it's already the fifth deadline for capturing the whole of Donbas, or all of the above – but they are pushing like it's their last time,” Andriy Illienko said.
In addition, he emphasized that fierce battles are ongoing in the devastated villages and at the front-line positions. 'The autumn battle for Donbas is ongoing,' Illienko added.
The choice of every Ukrainian in wartime
In an interview with the newspaper 'Glavkom', Andriy Illienko stressed that the war will drag on for a long time, and every Ukrainian must realize their choice: whether to defend their country or risk being on the side of the enemy. He noted that indifference and hopes for reconciliation could lead to negative consequences, so it is important to focus on strengthening defense capabilities.
The situation at the front is critical, and it is crucial for Ukrainians to realize the complexity of the circumstances and actively engage in defending the country from external aggression. The war may last a long time and require mobilization of all national resources.
In conditions of constant hostilities, the awareness of one’s role in the defense of the country becomes even more relevant. Each of us has the opportunity to influence the situation by supporting our defenders and participating in the restoration of peaceful life in Ukraine. Support for the army, volunteering, and an active civic position are the things that can help in this difficult time.
